Spring 2015

Joining TEDxWasedaU is a unique experience for ABS students and all exchange students in Waseda University as it is totally different from students’ societies in Hong Kong. In TEDxWasedaU, students work in teams with different nationalities and have chances to meet various speakers and business sponsors. Throughout the experience with TEDxWasedaU, we are not only able to gain exposures to Japan student circles and to work and meet with Japan's business executives but also make life-long friendships with people from different countries!

Founded in 2011 by the students of Waseda University, TEDxWasedaU is a non-profit organization bringing students with diverse backgrounds together to share the same mission of embracing cultural diversity and providing opportunities to exchange, share and spread ideas. Its vision is having “Ideas Worth Spreading.”

TEDxWasedaU is devoted to spreading interesting and innovative ideas to local communities through organizing a major event and a few community based salon talks and discussions annually. It also held Student Speaker Competition (SSC) every year to recruit students as potential speakers for main event.
